Authorized inventory of P1010, P1020, P2041 and P4081 processors supports long-term production and reduces redesign and supply risks.
NXP’s QorIQ Secure Edge P-Series processors, built on Power Architecture technology, have played a central role in networking, telecom, industrial, and defense applications. Their high performance and rich peripheral integration made them a durable foundation for long-lifecycle designs.

Following foundry constraints and the issuance of a last-time-buy notification, ongoing availability became a concern for customers supporting established platforms. To help bridge this lifecycle gap, Rochester Electronics acquired authorized inventory to extend support beyond original expectations and help maintain continuity for deployed systems.
Available products include the P1010 single-core PowerPC e500v2 processor, P1020 dual-core PowerPC e500v2 processor, P2041 quad-core PowerPC e500mc processor, and P4081 octal-core PowerPC e500mc processor, as well as additional QorIQ P-Series devices supported through Rochester’s authorized lifecycle portfolio. The family’s broad software and hardware compatibility can also help support migration paths within established designs.
Supported through Rochester Electronics’ Through Life Support 360 (TLS360) program, these processors are managed within a transparent lifecycle framework designed to extend availability beyond standard end-of-life timelines. By maintaining products as fully authorized and actively managed, TLS360 helps customers avoid unnecessary redesigns, reduce supply risk, and plan confidently for long-term production and field support.
