The program provides CSI specifications, BIM resources, test results and other product information within the specification workflow.
Chalkline, Inc., developer of VisiSpecs, The Visual Specification System, announced that NanaWall and Neogard have joined its Building Product Manufacturer (BPM) Program. The program provides manufacturer product data and direct communication within the workflow architects and specifiers use to prepare specifications.
Product research and specification writing are often separate activities. Design professionals typically search manufacturer websites and other online resources for specifications, technical data and product information. The VisiSpecs BPM Program makes these resources available within the specification workflow and provides a way for design professionals to contact manufacturers with questions.
Participating manufacturers can provide three-part CSI specifications, cut sheets, catalogs, test results, BIM resources, warranties and other supporting information. These resources are available within VisiSpecs to support manufacturers and specifiers during the research, product selection and specification process.
Neogard joined the program to support communication with design professionals during product research and specification.
