Colella will oversee Autodesk Forma and continue developing Revit, Civil 3D and other desktop products.

Autodesk, Inc. announced that Diana Colella has been named executive vice president of its architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) business. Colella will succeed Amy Bunszel, who previously announced her retirement and will remain with Autodesk through Nov. 2, 2026, to support the transition.
Colella will lead Autodesk’s AEC business as the company continues developing Autodesk Forma, its industry cloud for AEC. Forma connects data, project context and workflows across the AEC life cycle and includes AI and project intelligence capabilities.
In her new role, Colella will oversee the Forma strategy and the continued development of desktop products such as Revit and Civil 3D. She will also focus on connecting these products with Forma workflows to bring together data and project context across the life cycle.
Colella has nearly three decades of experience at Autodesk in finance, strategy, sales, operations, product management and industry leadership. She joined Autodesk through its acquisition of Discreet Logic and has held several leadership positions, including leading the company’s AutoCAD business and helping launch One AutoCAD.
Most recently, Colella led Autodesk’s AI initiatives in its Media & Entertainment (M&E) business. She advanced the Flow platform strategy and expanded its use across the production life cycle. Through acquisitions including Moxion, PIX and Wonder Dynamics and the continued development of Autodesk Flow Studio, she helped expand the platform’s capabilities for creators and studios. Colella will continue to oversee the M&E business while Autodesk searches for a new leader who will report to her.
