The approach combines 800 VDC power delivery, liquid cooling and prefabricated systems for high-density GPU deployments.

Delta Electronics announced infrastructure technologies for AI factories based on the NVIDIA DSX AI Factory Platform. NVIDIA DSX combines reference designs, open software, accelerated computing systems, facility infrastructure and partner technologies for AI factory design, deployment and operation. Delta’s solutions cover onsite energy, facility power, row- and rack-level power and cooling as well as chip-level power delivery and thermal management.
Power and thermal management from facility to rack
Delta integrates power and thermal management across facility and IT infrastructure. At the facility level, its solutions include energy storage systems (ESS), solid-state transformers (SST) and medium-voltage equipment for storing, converting and distributing power to high-density AI workloads. Within the IT space, the company combines 800 VDC power delivery with row-to-chip liquid cooling for GPU-based systems. This approach coordinates power delivery and heat removal across facility and IT infrastructure.
Power delivery from rack to chip
Delta’s 800 VDC power architecture reduces the number of conversion stages between facility power and computing hardware. The architecture provides up to 98% power-conversion efficiency and responds to changes in GPU load. In-row systems can provide up to 800 kW in a single power rack, while battery and capacitance backup technologies support transient stability.
At the board level, Delta’s 800 VDC DC-DC power distribution technology converts power directly to 50 VDC or 12 VDC, with peak efficiency of up to 98.5%. Coordinating these power-conversion stages can reduce electrical losses, heat generation and copper requirements while allocating more data-center space to computing equipment.

Delta’s thermal-management portfolio includes 2.4 MW and 3 MW liquid-to-liquid cooling distribution units, in-rack cooling systems and thermal solutions for AI racks. These systems are designed to coordinate cooling at the facility, row, rack and component levels for AI infrastructure based on NVIDIA DSX.
Prefabricated infrastructure for AI factories
Delta uses prefabricated and modular designs for AI-factory infrastructure. Its Prefabricated AI Modular Data Center Solution integrates 800 VDC in-row power and 3 MW of liquid-cooling capacity into infrastructure blocks that are assembled and tested at the factory. Offsite integration and testing can reduce onsite installation activities, support commissioning and allow capacity to be added in phases.
Delta’s system-level approach combines facility power, rack power, cooling and component-level technologies for AI data-center infrastructure. The company has also provided a video describing its AI-factory infrastructure and energy-to-compute solutions.
