The ESCAPE program applies forecasting, optimization, machine learning and AI to service-parts planning across the global supply chain.

PTC announced that the United States Air Force (USAF) has renewed its use of PTC’s Servigistics service supply chain optimization solution through the Enterprise Supply Chain Analysis, Planning, and Execution (ESCAPE) program. The renewal continues a relationship focused on modernizing service supply chain planning and supporting aircraft and system readiness.
The USAF first selected Servigistics in 2017 to support service-parts planning across its global supply chain. Since then, its use has expanded to support additional planning and optimization requirements, consolidate legacy systems and update the supply chain planning environment. Servigistics combines forecasting, multi-echelon optimization, supply planning, machine learning and AI to help align inventory and supply decisions with aircraft and system availability requirements.
The renewal provides an opportunity to apply additional AI and exception-based management capabilities. These tools can help planners identify potential issues, compare alternatives, automate routine workflows and focus on decisions that require expert review.
PTC stated that Servigistics is part of its Intelligent Product Lifecycle portfolio, which is intended to connect product data across an organization and support AI-based applications. The portfolio is designed to help manufacturers manage product information, coordinate operations and support digital business processes.
