We are searching for an electrical engineer to play an important roll in this relatively new MEP firm. The position is Electrical Engineer in Building Power and Lighting.
       Some background: The President is a successful business leader and a 1994 NC State mechanical engineer. Three years ago, he left a national AE organization to start this firm in the RTP area. Today, they have two growing offices, one in Raleigh and the other in Charlotte.
    A good percentage of the staff knew the president prior to their joining the firm, which speaks to the quality of the leader and to the quality of the opportunity. Right now, there are 14 employees --several are PE’s, and several are seasoned designers. Their primary market focus is Life Science/Lab, Office, K-12, and Higher Ed (full list available).

What makes you a good candidate:

• Experience in building power, lighting design, fire alarm, and low voltage.
• Revit experience (firm works almost exclusively in Revit).
• Electrical PE.
• Several years design experience.
• Experience taking a project from start to finish with limited oversight.
• Experience in sustainable design practices.
• Ability and desire to mentor others.
