03 Mar 2015 03:55 AM What four digit number has digit 2 smaller than digit 4 which is two thirds of digit 1 which is two thirds of digit 3 which is three times digit 2? (2/3)*x, 3*x, x*(2/3),x x=3 2,9,2,3 1. The only digit not mention is the 4th digit. 2. Starting with the 4th digit; initial number 3,makes the fourth digit in the final number 2. , , ,2 3. This make the 1 digit final answer 2. 2, , ,2 4. The second digit is then 9=3*3 2,9, ,2 5. Now the third digit is (2/3) of the second digit 2. 2923 6. This number meets the requirement of 2 digits smaller than 4. 2,9,2,3 or 2923
