The part molded is a small grommet. Should have been 30 ShoreA and was molded in 55 ShoreA. It is already installed, but one surface can be accessed. Does anyone know of an agent of some sort that can be applied to the surface to lower the effective durometer of the surface? The part is installed in an electronic device, and only the exposed surface would need softening. The part is a cylinder about 0.320" OD by 0.200" long. Thanks for any help you can give!
