XJet highlights its growth at formnext 2018

“XJet has hit a series of milestones in the last year, and we continue to invest and grow,” states XJet CBO Dror Danai, “In the last 12 months we’ve shipped our Carmel system to users in the US, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Israel and, within the next couple of weeks, to the UK and Italy as well. Our first distributor appointment – Carfulan in the UK – marked an important step in our plans for establishing a worldwide leading channel network. Concurrently, the launch of our state-of-the-art Additive Manufacturing Center and our increased manufacturing capacity through a new world class partner, stand us in great stead when it comes to future growth and the support of our growing customer base.“

Offering a powderless, additive manufacturing process for both ceramics and metals, the XJet Carmel 1400 AM System will demonstrate the production of quality metal parts throughout formnext on stand D80, hall 3.1. XJet will also update visitors on the latest developments in its technology and present on Powder-Free Ceramic & Metal AM on the TCT Introducing Stage at 15:30 on Tuesday 13th November.

“XJet’s NanoParticle Jetting technology represents a step-change in the quality of additively manufactured metal and ceramic parts,” says Danai. “The technology delivers substantial improvements in density, detail and design freedom. We’re very much looking forward to meeting formnext visitors once again to demonstrate this and reveal our latest business and technology developments.”

Due to its unique inkjet approach, XJet’s proprietary NPJ (NanoParticle Jetting) technology enables the manufacturing of highly complex parts with superfine details, smooth surfaces and pinpoint accuracy. Remarkably thin layers of just a few microns can be achieved, compared to dozens of microns in powder-based ceramic and metal AM technologies. Cavities and fine details can be created with no concern they will be harmed in the support-removal process, as a separate material is used for support structures.

Visitors to formnext can experience the quality of XJet parts first-hand with extreme close-ups of both metal and ceramic materials, they can also take a virtual tour of the technology on the XJet stand. Technical experts will be on-hand throughout the show to discuss how NPJ technology can solve manufacturing problems and deliver exclusive benefits unmatched by other technologies.
