Will.i.am appointed Chief Creative Officer at 3D Systems

will-i-am_shot2 3D Systems has initiated “out-of-the-box” thinking again and hired global entertainer will.i.am as its Chief Creative Officer. Yes, seriously. The entertainer’s role at the company will be to play a leadership role to inspire, shape and drive all (all!) of 3D Systems initiatives to mainstream the use of 3D printing “through major collaborations with creative brand partners, innovative global campaigns and educational grand challenges.”

Well, since Will.i.am has been a major influence on music, the news got our editorial staff thinking; so we developed a musical playlist for Make Parts Fast (playing off words associated with 3D printing, of course). Here’s what we’ve come up with; what would you add to the list?
