Will a 240V 60hz microwave oven work in with 240V 50hz power?
Many modern electrical and electronic devices will operate properly with either 50Hz or 60Hz power. To determine if your microwave oven will operate properly refer to the owner’s manual and / or the label plate on the unit. The operating capabilities of the device will be listed there.
The biggest challenge is to ensure that the motors for the fan and table carrousel will work in both power modes. At 50Hz the motors will rotate at a slower speed compared to 60Hz.
