If your dump body is not going down when the valving for they hydraulic is set to allow the down position – three way valve open to vent – it sounds like the valve is not shifting positions properly or that you have some sort of blockage in the vent or return lines of the system.

To determine the source of the problem you may need to disassemble the system.

If it is the valve is shifting positions you should be able to feel the movement. Be sure to do this when the system is in a safe or chocked condition.
