what is allowable tolerance for colunm verticality
colunm which is casted not in vertcal is deveated 12mm is acceptable
12mm or approximately 1/2″ for those who are SI challenged would not be very good for a column that was 1 meter tall, but if the column were 10 meters tall that should be more than acceptable. Also a lot depends on the slenderness ratio of the column – its length : effective diameter.
A one meter column the deviation is just over 40 minutes off of vertical while the 10 meter column is just over 4 minutes.
