What does RB coupling stand for ?
An RB couplings in Engineering terms are type of flexible shaft couplings [1]. Looking at the construction of the coupling show on the website below I suspect that RB = Rubber Ball although it appears that the rubber balls are more like rubber cylinders with rounded ends.
