What difference between stroke length and press stroke
Stroke length might be the total available cylinder stroke which includes wear considerations etc. Press stroke could be the normal working stroke of the press which would be something less than the total cylinder stroke.
Harsha:
I believe that they are the same thing. I am trying to thing of a application were they represent different things.
In a table concerning presses you would expect to see a column listing the “stroke length” of the different presses being presented.
When you are discussing the operation of the press you would make calculations based on the “press stroke”.
The terms represent that same thing in two different applications.
