What are the weakest points of an A-Frame Bridge?
I am making a bridge for school out of balsa wood and was planing on making a A-Frame bridge. I was wondering where an A-Frame Bridge typically breaks or the weakest points of the bridge.
Assuming that you are using a strong enough material to support everything the weakest parts will be where all of the connections of the A-frame are made. At the very top and both sides of the middle brace the middle brace. If the material used isn’t strong enough than the entire frame will be the weak spot.
