EYESim is real-time virtual training software that is a combination of virtual reality technologies with high-fidelity process and control simulation, computer-based maintenance, documentation management, and other applications to provide a realistic and safe training environment for improving operating efficiency and skills. Simulations are driven by Invensys’ DYNSIM process simulator, FSIM Plus software, I/A Series control system emulation, and other compatible programs.

You can use EYESim technology to become familiar with plant operations and processes without coming in contact with actual machinery.

The product provides a stable, realistic environment for practicing routine operational and maintenance functions as well as plant shutdowns. Using computer models of real equipment allows you to experiment without taking the equipment off line.

Large facilities can benefit from using the virtual training tools due to the size of the facility and range of equipment in use.

By merging virtual plant imagery with screens from asset management or other application software, the software creates a computer-generated representation of either a real or proposed process plant. Using a stereoscopic headset, you enter an immersive environment in which you can move throughout the plant. The virtual scenario is rendered at 60 frames/sec.
