VIDEO: Affordable Advanced Technology at IMTS

Day 1 at IMTS has come to a close and affordability for SMEs is the overriding theme.

Well, it’s the end of day one at IMTS 2016, so what have we seen at the end of the first day?

We’ve seen advanced industrial automation with giant industrial robots, collaborative robots, multi-axis machining centers and more.

The key takeaway I’ve found on the first day of IMTS is a prevailing theme of advanced technology that is now priced at a level that SMEs can afford. More small job shops and smaller manufacturers are walking around and seriously shopping for advanced, high tech, production equipment.

It’s an exciting development and we’ll be cover more of it throughout the week. Stay tuned.
