Enhancing production efficiency is something that binds all industries together. Whether it’s manufacturing or software solutions, the end goal for organizations is to maximize their productivity while limiting costs and resources. With the world still reeling from the effects of COVID-19 and countless industries struggling to regain their footing, our reliance on automation, robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) is at its zenith. This is exactly where Automate Forward 2021 comes in.

This year, Automate Forward will be held virtually, and will span five days from March 22 to March 26. The general format of the event is structured to include live presentations, demos of the latest automation and robotics innovations, and an executive roundtable where industry leaders will share their predictions for the future and provide guidance for current challenges. Tech enthusiasts will have access to a networking lounge on all days of the trade show. The event will cap off with technology sessions spearheaded by experts from various fields.

Automate Forward 2021’s agenda headlines keynote panels and speeches on a variety of subjects. Robotics will be discussed extensively at the event—with topics ranging from 4D vision and integrated robotic automation, to autonomous mobile robots, human-aware robot software and Industry 4.0.

A mix of topics related to AI will feature prominently at the event, some of which involve the future of AIoT, AI-based performance management, and 5G AI-enabled robotics. Other highlights include AI machine vision, quality inspections and cloud technologies, as well as revolutionizing automation in manufacturing.

The trade show will feature over 80 speakers from the world of automation solutions, including keynote sessions from industry juggernauts such as Raj Batra, President of Siemens Digital Industries, Indranil Sircar, CTO of Microsoft Manufacturing Industry, and Dieter Fox, senior director of robotics research at NVIDIA.

Automate is held every two years, and has existed in one form or another since 1977. As an exhibition of solutions-based automation technologies, it is considered the largest showcase of its kind in North America. The event traditionally features live demos and conferences pertaining to the latest innovative solutions in robotics, AI, vision and motion control, and smart automation technologies.

Automate also provides a comprehensive list of educational experiences. At every Automate event, leading industrial professionals facilitate conferences on select issues affecting their respective industries, complete with a breakdown of challenges as well as their practical or theoretical solutions. These conferences are typically set up to advance progressively in skill level, so that Day One is geared towards beginners while Day Five is geared towards experts.
