UltiMaker has launched UltiMaker S6 3D printer, designed for engineers, manufacturing teams, and maintenance crews seeking reliable 3D printing for production support, prototyping, and on-demand repairs. UltiMaker’s latest S6 model emphasizes productivity with faster print speeds—up to 500 mm/s—and acceleration up to 50,000 mm/s², aided by the new Cheetah motion planner. It maintains dual extrusion capabilities for multi-material printing and supports both print heads via a single material station to help reduce downtime. The S6 also offers two build plate options: a flexible plate for general use and a glass plate suited for applications with hygiene considerations, such as medical or food-related prints.
