Two new 3D printing materials from 3D Systems

3D printing material from 3D SystemsAccura® ClearVue™, from 3D Systems Corporation (NYSE:DDD) is a durable, ultra clear 3D printing material with Polycarbonate and ABS properties for snap-fit applications. Parts made from it will be on display at EuroMold November 29th – December 2nd, 2011.

The material suits the design, development and manufacture of automotive headlamp assemblies, bottles and containers, clear plastic consumer goods, light pipes and LED displays where exceptional clarity is critical. It has also been shown to produce parts that meet the rigorous requirements of USP Class VI, for healthcare applications.

Accura® Sapphire is a new 3D printing material for jewelry design and high-volume production. High-precision, detailed Accura® Sapphire patterns and parts will also be on display at EuroMold.

As part of the SLA® print materials, it enables faster build speed and cleaner pattern burnout during casting. This material is durable, allowing jewelers to set stones prior to casting, saving time and money.
