Trimble seeks applications for 2025 Construction Innovation Awards

Awards program open to North American users of any Trimble hardware or software solution, including Tekla BIM solutions.

Trimble has opened applications for its annual Construction Innovation Awards, which highlight how North American customers use Trimble technology to improve workflows, processes, and projects. A new category this year will recognize effective use of Tekla BIM software in structural design and construction. Winners will receive a free pass to the 2025 Trimble Dimensions User Conference, held November 10-12, 2025 in Las Vegas.

Award categories include:

  • Connected Construction — how two or more integrated Trimble solutions achieved quality, productivity, efficiency or other benefits beyond what one solution could provide on its own
  • Process Transformation — how Trimble technology enabled a company to improve a specific architecture, engineering or construction workflow or process
  • Most Challenging Project — essential contributions of Trimble technology to the success of a particularly challenging or unique project
  • Workforce Achievement — personal aspects of Trimble technology and how it attracts good people and inspires them to do great things, including recognition of individual technology “changemakers”
  • Best Tekla BIM Project — use of Tekla BIM modeling on a project in North America, including exceptional challenges addressed and performance improvements achieved

The Trimble Construction Innovation Awards recognize individuals and organizations using Trimble technology to improve efficiency, support project delivery, enhance safety, and manage costs in construction. Past recipients have included professionals and companies across the industry—from architects and engineers to general and specialty contractors, as well as transportation and infrastructure project owners.

The North American Tekla BIM Awards have been integrated into the Trimble Construction Innovation Awards program under the category “Best Tekla BIM Project.” This category highlights North American projects that have effectively used Tekla software to address project requirements and improve outcomes. Submissions are assessed based on how Tekla contributed to the project, with attention to measurable results such as cost efficiency, material quantities (e.g., tons of steel or concrete), structure size, labor hours saved, or reductions in material waste.

Interested participants can submit entries here. The application asks nominees to clearly outline their success story—focusing on challenges or opportunities they encountered, Trimble solutions applied, and measurable results achieved. Nominations are due by August 22, with winners selected by a panel of Trimble judges in early September.
