The snow is melting in the Midwest which means a couple of things, Spring is on its way and a new release of AutoCAD and AutoCAD-based products is right around the corner. Recently the groundhog predicted after seeing or not seeing its shadow an early Spring or six more weeks of Winter, but over the past few years this event has also indicated that a new release of AutoCAD is near as well. After all, a groundhog likes to dig in the dirt and construct as well.
This week in a not so remote or secret location located in California, the public unveiling of the next release of AutoCAD was announced. During this event, a number of AutoCAD/Autodesk bloggers attended the Webcast and other meetings to discuss the future of AutoCAD.  For more information on this event and AutoCAD 2010, see the AutoCAD 2010 Webcast Behind the Scenes posting on Shaan Hurley’s blog.
I will start working on rolling out updates to the command and system variable lists that I maintain in the upcoming weeks, as well as information about new and changed features. Until then, check out the following links:
Sincerely,
 Lee
