In version 19.4, Publish 3D for NX includes a number of improved product features, such as expanded support for exploded views, attribute information and improved handling of associated PMI,as well as an upgraded PMI display.
With this latest Publish 3D release, Theorem’s team gives users the option of creating 3D PDFs directly within the NX application. If that workflow isn’t ideal for users, a separate stand-alone 3D PDF configuration tool provides greater control over how data is published to 3D PDF. Additionally, Theorem’s Publish 3D On Demand tool makes it possible to export multiple 3D PDFs from a single NX model. Through the use of templates built into Theorem’s software, users can quickly publish dynamic documentation that’s formatted for quick and straightforward communication.
To protect proprietary data, version 19.4 also comes equipped with document rights management (DRM) options, including the ability to deploy several passwords across a document that can control how a 3D PDF is output and how it integrates with DRM systems.
Finally, and maybe most importantly, 19.4 also supports the publication of model-based definition (MBD) data, 3D annotations (PMI) and set model views that have been built into an NX model. These set views and definitions can make communicating via 3D PDF extremely easy when it comes to sharing information with anyone from contract manufacturers to suppliers and even in-house review teams.
Theorem’s 3D PDFs can be viewed by anyone with access to the free Adobe Acrobat Reader tool, and all documents are compatible with PCs, tablets or smartphones.
