Rand Worldwide and IMAGINiT Technologies have announced the last stretch of their RENDERiT contest. Engineers and architects are encouraged to upload their images for a chance to win a MakerBot Replicator Mini 3D Printer.

Other prizes include a Polaroid Socialmatic, a Pebble Steel Smartwatch, and a randomly drawn voter prize for a $100 Apple gift card.

To enter the contest, images must have been created using Autodesk or IMAGINiT Technologies software. You can then upload your image to the RENDERiT contest Facebook page. Once uploaded, Facebook users will vote for their favourite images.

To qualify, your upload must be submitted no later than October 1st, 2014. Voting will end October 7th, with prize announcements scheduled for the 8th.

Tim Johnson, Sr VP of IMAGINiT Technologies says, “We typically work with our clients to recommend technology, help them implement it and then ensure the effective adoption of this technology into their workflows and design processes … When we partner with customers, we don’t often get to experience the truly innovative designs that our clients are creating on the frontlines with Autodesk 3D design software. IMAGINiT’s RENDERiT Contest allows us to see the powerful ideas that these design tools bring to reality. We truly enjoy exposing the work of the brightest designers to a like-minded community and soliciting feedback from this peer group on their designs.”

There are already some very impressive renders uploaded onto the contest site. Be sure to vote and check them out.
