3DGence’s new FFF printer aims for accuracy and speed in industrial prints.

Late last year, Polish 3D printer manufacturer 3DGence released its latest INDUSTRY F421 high-temperature printer. The F421 is a dual-extruder fused filament fabrication (FFF) printer that 3DGence says was designed for accuracy, speed, comfort and safety in industrial applications.
The new printer is a successor to 3DGence’s INDUSTRY F420 printer, which was released in 2019. The F421 has various upgrades that aim to produce higher quality parts as well as enhance workflow and safety. It features an integrated heat chamber capable of 180°C and interchangeable print modules, and also includes an advanced emissions filtration system.
The INDUSTRY F421 has a 380 x 380 x 420 mm print volume, suitable for small or large batches. It has a print speed of 400 mm/s and a travel speed of 1 m/s. Alongside the F421, 3DGence also released a polyetheretherketone (PEEK) Aero filament that is AS9100 certified.
“With a focus on industry certified materials such as AS9100 PEEK, ULTEM, and advanced materials for medical applications, the requirement towards sequential printing of end-use parts motivated the newest version of our INDUSTRY portfolio,” said 3DGence marketing director Mateusz Sidorowicz in a statement for Cimquest. “The rigid kinematic system has been optimized for high-speed, high-accuracy dual-head printing, a higher chamber temperature, the extrusion system is full-composite ready with extended durability, and the new tablet-oriented screen has an enhanced, user-friendly workflow.”
“At 3DGence, we are supporting our customers across industries in expanding the use of high-temperature and composite materials for end-use applications,” said Ron Faruqui, 3DGence Americas CEO. “The aerospace industry has the most stringent requirements for material performance due to demanding application environments and critical safety imperatives.”

Along with innovating its 3D printing technologies, 3DGence developed a Management Material System (MMS) for its INDUSTRY F421 printer. Designed for printing repeatability, the system minimizes material handling and facilitates materials storage, preparation, and post-processing.
The INDUSTRY F421 printer includes a three-year warranty that will only be available in select European markets for 2022, with other locations being added in 2023.
“With the launch of our new F421, we wanted to make our commitment clear to our users about our quality and service with this new industry standard in warranty,” said Sebastian Sczasny, 3DGence CEO. “As the market has progressed in requirements and complexity of applications, we designed our printers to meet these enhanced expectations in build quality, component integrity, and ease of use and maintenance.”
