School Information:

The Grove School of Engineering awards BE and ME degrees in Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering, BE and MS degrees in Biomedical Engineering, and BS and MS degrees in Computer Science. An interdisciplinary MS degree in Engineering is also awarded. Through the Graduate Center (GC) of the of City University of New York (CUNY), Ph.D. programs are available in all departments. Externally funded research, in which selected undergraduates may participate, amounts to $16 million annually (2006/2007 accademic year). The Grove School of Engineering reflects City College as a whole in the diversity of its student body and the cultural and recreational advantages of being part of one of the world's great cities. An endowment gift of 26 million dollars was recently give to the School of Engineering by Intel former President and Chairman Dr. Andrew Grove (Chemical Engineering class of 1960). The funds are used to support undergraduate and graduate students and new faculty.
