Parts can be drilled, finished and assembled to produce larger models without outsourcing, and with little to no workshop time. It requires minimal training to use, and avoids the hazardous dissolved waste inherent in some high-end 3D prototype printers, which makes it a safer alternative for workers, students, and the environment.
