In a world of design software that I’ve always wanted to try just for the sake of it being completely foreign to any way I’ve ever designed before, solidThinking’s Inspire and Evolve fall into that category.
Available on both Windows and OSX, solidThinking’s products utilize a unique method of design iteration – morphing geometry to fit design constraints. It’s a bit of a conundrum to wrap one’s head around until actually using the system. The latest enhancements with the recent release make learning the software even easier. Words don’t do it justice, but videos are worth more than 1,000 words.
