Image of the Week:
Our engineering image of the week is a stunning photo of FIFI and Doc, the last two flyable B-29 Superfortresses. The first B-29 had its maiden flight on September 21, 1942 from Boeing Field in Seattle. FIFI is owned by the Commemorative Air Force, currently based at the Vintage Flying Museum in Fort Worth, Texas. Doc is owned by the non-profit organization Doc’s Friends Incorporated and has a slightly more storied history.
