Slash 2 3D printer offers build speeds to 1200 mm/hr

At the CES 2019 conference, California based UNIZ Technology unveiled the newest of its line of fast, high precision 3D printers—The Slash 2. This stereolithography 3D printer has a build size of 192 mm x 120 mm build size and 49 um resolution.

The Slash 2 offers a specially designed 8.9” LCD screen. According to UNIZ Technology, the large, high-resolution screen opens new possibilities for SL-LCD 3D printing that were hindered by the physical size of smaller screens.

Sample models rendered by the Slash 2 were shown at CES 2019, and they demonstrated the surface quality as well as its ability to print many objects simultaneously. The Slash 2 suits applications in dental, jewelry and custom manufacturing in which quality, speed and build size are all required without trade-off.

As with other UNIZ products, the Slash 2 comes equipped with the trademark cUDP technology, which broke record 3D print speeds of up to 1200 mm/hr.
