SkyeBrowse Launches TacBrowse Situational Awareness Tool

CARROLLTON, TX, Jan 31, 2023 – SkyeBrowse, the fastest and easiest drone reality capture platform, has launched TacBrowse, a new situational awareness tool to give tactical teams real-time, actionable intelligence during missions.

“SkyeBrowse has long been useful for quickly and effectively planning tactical operations, but we wanted to take it a step further, and create a tool that can provide real-time data during mission execution,” said SkyeBrowse co-founder and CEO Bobby Ouyang. “TacBrowse gives tactical teams the situational awareness necessary for critical decision-making and officer safety during operations.”

The new tool builds upon SkyeBrowse’s proprietary technology, which uses videogrammetry to create 3D models from drone video. Incident commanders can upload a model of the incident scene to the TacBrowse Web application. Then all tactical team members can sign into the mission on the TacBrowse mobile app, which plots their GPS coordinates onto the 3D model in real time. Incident commanders can view the 3D model on the web browser and monitor team members as they move.

In addition to real-time location tracking, incident commanders can annotate the model with notes and measurements. On the web browser, anyone signed into the session can view the slope map between two points. They can also virtually place themselves in the model with the perspective tool from the profile panel for complete situational awareness.

The new tool can be added to SkyeBrowse’s premium services for $39 per person per month. Visit skyebrowse.com/tacbrowse for more information.
