This strategic collaboration strengthens RTX’s position in Asia Pacific.
Singapore, Oct 10, 2024 – Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, signed an exclusive, long-term agreement with VietJet and VietJet Thailand, a subsidiary of Vietjet Air, for CFM56-5B nacelle maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services.
VietJet and Thai VietJet, operate the second-largest CFM56-5B fleet in Asia Pacific. This collaboration significantly expands Collins’ business for nacelle aftermarket services on legacy fleets in the region.
Under the agreement, VietJet Group will benefit from preferred and enhanced support terms, which will also extend to nacelle repair for its PW1100G-JM fleet.
