Flexible licensing options keep costs down, so even the smallest teams can afford the very best engineering software available. During this expert-led webinar, multiple real-world examples will be shown, demonstrating the impact of these capabilities on new product development, all within Siemens Simcenter STAR-CCM+.
It was not all that long ago when new product development took decades, whether it was for a car, an aircraft, or some other advanced technology. The costs for laboratories, prototype development, testing, validation, and build-and-test design refinement meant that only a government laboratory or a large enterprise had access to the required resources. Those days are over. Today, modern simulation technology allows even early startups to prove out and refine their product designs digitally using modern software that is practical, accurate, scalable, and an effective part of a full digital twin.
What has changed? One by one, barriers have been falling to advancing simulation technology in general, and in particular to STAR-CCM+, the market-leading CFD and multiphysics solution from Siemens Digital Industries Software, with high fidelity that allows simulations to replace most prototype testing. A sophisticated CAD-to-mesh process combined with workflow automation makes generating and running models practical for any engineer, and advanced physics models can be set up to run separately or together in a single program and interface. Adaptive mesh refinement reduces model sizes and run times, while cloud computing allows even the largest and most sophisticated models to be run by small engineering teams. Flexible licensing options keep costs down, so even the smallest teams can afford the very best engineering software available.
During this expert-led webinar, multiple real-world examples will be shown, demonstrating the impact of these capabilities on new product development, all within Siemens Simcenter STAR-CCM+:
