In this webinar, we discuss the rising role of simulation and the paradigm shift commonly called the democratization of simulation. In particular, we focus on how SOLIDWORKS users can take advantage of simulation-driven design. You will learn:
- What is simulation-driven design, why it is important and how to take advantage
- The features of SOLIDWORKS Simulation and the analysis tools available in 3DEXPERIENCE WORKS
- The merits of desktop versus cloud simulation
- How to choose a simulation solution
We will also give an overview of some of the Simulation offerings by Dassault Systèmes, as part of SOLIDWORKS Simulation and SIMULIAworks product portfolios. Desktop solutions, SOLIDWORKS Simulation for Finite Element Analysis FEA, Flow Simulation for Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD and Plastics Simulation provide designers and engineers, powerful yet easy-to-use tools to innovate and improve their productivity especially in the early design stage.
The SIMULIAworks portfolio offers high-end nonlinear capabilities powered by ABAQUS and DS SIMULIA. Running on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, we provide the additional benefits of a cloud solution in a unified collaborative environment. With these diverse offerings, designers, engineers and analysts have powerful FEA and CFD tools to do Simulation for a wide range of applications with different levels of complexity and user expertise. We review these solutions and highlight the variety of simulations with examples.
