ENGINEERING.com recently surveyed 230 product development professionals about their use of CAD systems.

ENGINEERING.com recently surveyed 230 product development professionals about their use of CAD systems. Our analysis focused on their level of satisfaction with their CAD systems across several dimensions of performance. This webinar will present the results of this research report and provide expert commentary on the results.

This webinar is designed to help product development teams benchmark their CAD experience and to learn new techniques to optimize their satisfaction.

Here are a few selected insights:

  • While 88% of respondents said that it was important to standardize on a single CAD system, less than half of them reported doing so.
  • Users reported dissatisfaction with many aspects of their CAD software, especially cost and ease of use.
  • Reports of dissatisfaction correlated strongly and negatively with success in achieving on-time product launches and minimizing product development costs.
