Webinar: Get the Heat Out of Your Designs – Fixing Your Electronics Cooling Problems

Electronics used within products are constantly changing and improving, but the need to ensure proper cooling of these components remains.

Electronics used within products are constantly changing and improving, but the need to ensure proper cooling of these components remains. To maximize product performance, engineers need to overcome common electronics cooling challenges like:

  • Reduction in product size
  • Increase in overall product performance
  • Reducing overall cost
  • Extending product lifespan
  • Optimizing circuit board design

So, what would you design differently if you had the ability to see the invisible elements, like airflow and heat transfer? In this webinar, you will see how one product is used to help users visualize, identify, and solve electronics cooling challenges.

About the Speaker:

Dave Graves has a mechanical engineering degree from NC State University and currently resides in Charlottesville, VA. He has spent the first part of his career in the design and manufacturing of telecommunications equipment, but has spent the last several years in the CAE industry. As a Sr. Application Engineer with Blue Ridge Numerics, Dave has over 10+ years of product experience with what was formerly known as CFdesign and is now known as Autodesk CFD

Corey Gulley is a CFD Subject Matter Expert with the Simulation team at Autodesk. Corey has been with Autodesk since August 2016. Prior to joining Autodesk, Corey worked in the SolidWorks channel as a Simulation Specialist at Fisher Unitech. Prior to joining the software industry, he worked as a Structural Analyst and Design Engineer for many GE Aviation and Pratt and Whitney engine programs. Corey graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Corey resides with his dog, Diesel, just outside of Miami in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, playing his guitar, going to the gym, watching sports (particularly the Buckeyes), and being by the water.
