About the Speakers:
Mike LaFleche, a.k.a. “The Professor” – Channel Technical Services Manager, Onshape, a PTC business. A fixture in the 3D CAD community, Mike previously worked for multiple SOLIDWORKS Value Added Resellers in training and sales. He has also worked for companies in the “real world” in mechanical and electrical design positions utilizing a myriad of CAD systems. In his spare time, Mike enjoys live music, searching for natural waterfalls (versus the artificial ones), visiting historic industrial locations and playing the Doumbek, a Middle-Eastern drum.
Brendan McGaffey – Mechanical Design Engineer, Taymer International. Brendan has been working at Taymer International since 2016. Taymer designs and manufactures cable marking systems as well as industrial computer vision technology for a variety of industries. Mainly Wire and Cable Manufacturing, Medical Device Manufacturing, and Plastic Extrusion Lines. Brendan has used Solidworks (switched from), Onshape, and Fusion 360 as his CAD programs over the years. In his spare time, Brendan enjoys producing music, machining, and tinkering around with 3D printing technology.
