About the Guest:


John McEleney, Strategy at PTC and Co-founder of Onshape Inc. a company focused on applying modern computing to the 3D product design market. Prior to Onshape he was the CEO of Cloud Switch, which was acquired by Verizon. He served as a CEO of SolidWorks Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dassault Systemes from 2001 until June 2007. As CEO, McEleney steered SolidWorks to prominence as a leader in mid-range 3D CAD. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester, an M.S. in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University and an M.B.A. from Northeastern University.
