This webinar discusses the current landscape of the construction industry, what is impacting construction professionals the most, and how PMI is taking these challenges head on with their new learning solution, Construction Professional in Built Environment Projects (CPBEP).
As urban population centers swell, climate change intensifies, and emerging economies mature, the demand for major infrastructure projects—and the individuals who manage them—is rapidly increasing. However, issues like project delays, scope creep, and consistently exceeding budget are detracting from project outcomes, taking a toll on the professionals leading these projects—and the project owners funding them. These pain points, paired with the imminent need for upskilling in a digital era, may put the construction industry in a precarious position.
Recognizing the substantial need for transformation in the construction industry, Project Management Institute (PMI) worked with leading construction organizations and subject matter experts to identify common issues in the industry. With this knowledge, PMI created a robust suite of learning solutions, including a certification, to help construction professionals evolve their project management skills and lead their projects and organizations forward.
Watch Ben Breen, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Global Head of Construction, PMI, and Dr. Stephen Mulva, Director, Construction Industry Institute (CII), discuss the current landscape of the construction industry, what is impacting construction professionals the most, and how PMI is taking these challenges head on with their new learning solution, Construction Professional in Built Environment Projects (CPBEP).
