Today’s industrial processes are continuously evolving to keep meeting the moving target of requirements for additive manufacturing. While the technical skillsets of users are constantly expanding, AM pre-processing tools need to allow them to efficiently deploy optimized solutions within one solution.

In current workflows, companies are utilizing multiple software solutions to meet current requirements. With 4D_Additive being a CAD and printer agnostic software solution, it continuously improves process workflows for 3D printing.

This professional tool allows the user to read CAD and triangulated data of all major formats and prepare additive manufacturing jobs quickly and accurately.

Common machine types and technology parameters of additive processes are stored in the system’s database. The software has a modern, fast, and easy-to-use graphic interface and innovative features such as automatic 3D nesting with optimal heat distribution.

Sophisticated functions for hollowing and for generating internal and external lattices as well as advanced texturing modules. When sending data to the machine, 4D_Additive supports all major slicing, bitmap, and 3D printing formats.

Watch this webinar to learn how to:

  • Read in major CAD files including PMI/GD&T to understand design intent
  • Use DFM analysis tools to ensure no critical areas are included in the design
  • Improve product light weighting and design challenges with Advanced lattice options
  • Optimize 2D & 3D Nesting for part placement
  • Utilize Advanced texturing for custom prints
  • Export for printing applications

About the Speakers:

Frank DeLuca – Director of Sales Engineering – CoreTechnologie

Frank DeLuca holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and is fast becoming a subject matter expert in the field of optimizing native CAD for various applications. He has over 8 years of automation experience. Before joining CoreTechnologie 4 years ago, he utilized various simplification methodologies to create models for both dealer-facing websites for form, function and fit, as well as optimized models for AR/VR applications. In the field of additive manufacturing, he has become the lead US engineer when it comes to implementing software solutions to reduce post processing efforts by optimizing the pre-processing methods. In his free time, Frank enjoys various outdoor activities with his family.
