Building for High-Corrosive Environments: Extending the Life of Your Investment

Legacy has installed buildings in some very corrosive environments. This webinar will examine what Legacy has learned over the years working with industries where corrosion protection is a vital component of their infrastructure.

Legacy has installed buildings in some very corrosive environments. This webinar will examine what Legacy has learned over the years working with industries where corrosion protection is a vital component of their infrastructure.

We will discuss why corrosion happens, and where it’s likely to happen. We will go over some of the industries that have the most corrosive environments and what we have done for them.

We will go into depth about hot-dipped galvanizing and epoxy coating as a process and as a solution to corrosion. We will review testing, research, and results between HDG and epoxy during this webinar.

Key Objectives:

  • The causes of different corrosion types and how each impact industrial buildings
  • The different methods of pretreating steel to discourage corrosion
  • Extending the life of your investment through corrosion protection
  • Fabric building life cycle costs with corrosion protection vs. other buildings
