Additive Manufacturing Made Easy – 3D Preprocessing with 4D_Additive

Learn how CoreTechnologie’s Additive manufacturing software solution (4D_Additive) allows CAD data to be prepared as intelligent, exact B-Rep geometry for all common 3D printing processes. Enables quality check, repair and preparation of models in accordance to CAD-engineering standards.

CoreTechnologie’s Additive manufacturing software solution (4D_Additive) allows CAD data to be prepared as intelligent, exact B-Rep geometry for all common 3D printing processes. This enables the unique capability for inspection, repair, and even the ability to heal B-Rep and STL data according to the most comprehensive and current engineering standards. Optimized build volumes can be saved in common formats such as amf, 3mf, obj, STL and STEP. When not sending direct to printer, 4D_Additive can export slicing formats such as .cli, .sli, .slc, .abf, .svg, .sls, and g-code.

About the Speakers:

David A. Selliman – Sales, CoreTechnologie. Sales Executive for CoreTechnologie for North America since September 2007. David is a Subject Matter Expert with more than 15 years of global leadership experience in automotive, general machinery, and aerospace markets, focusing on CAD, CAE, and CAM. David currently serves on the Board Of Directors for PDES (a consortium focused on Model-Based Engineering and Long Term Data Retention). David previously served in various key executive positions at Mechanical Dynamics and MSC Software with a focus on the automotive sector. David continues to focus on industry-leading implementations of CAD interoperability solutions within PLM applications. Selliman earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Davenport University with continued education in CAD, CAE and CAM engineering.

Justin Sabol – Sales, CoreTechnologie. During his time at CoreTechnologie he has worn a few different hats. He currently is responsible for supporting the West Coast of North America; having extensive knowledge of all CoreTechnologie tools with a focus on Simplification and 4D Additive you may find him supporting team members during technical meetings or at shows creating relationships. In his prior job he helped achieve more efficient processes to reduce manufacturing and delivery costs and time by designed and developing unique equipment, as well as meeting sales targets. In his free time Justin enjoys anything outdoors; snowboarding, fishing, mountain biking.

Frank DeLuca – Sales, CoreTechnologie. Frank has more than 5 years experience automating and implementing robust solutions for engineers across the country. Prior to joining CoreTechnologie USA in 2018, Frank worked with Fortune 500 companies in an engineering capacity. In his current role as product application specialist, he has grown to become an expert in geometry simplification, collision detection utilizing DMU, STEP AP242 validation and CAD translations amongst other fields. Frank has found in the past, that the best way to learn is to truly understand the failures of interoperability solutions before growing and becoming more effective. DeLuca earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. Frank is supported by his 3 remarkable kids and his beautiful wife.
