85% or Better Overall Equipment Effectiveness: Getting There with IoT Analytics

In today’s SaaS world, the cloud is a natural place for large amounts of user data to be aggregated, processed and turned into useful, actionable information. The Siemens MindSphere team has developed such a platform and, in this webinar, will share some of their valuable insights.

Achieving an overall equipment effectiveness of 85% or better is a widely accepted benchmark for efficient plant operations. We all know that timely, accurate data collection is key to achieving OEE benchmarks, but in today’s avalanche of data from connected devices everywhere, many plant operations are drowning in data. What’s the best way forward?

Making sense of plantwide data streams and then turning them into actionable information requires a data hosting platform that combines device management, connectivity, all necessary data storage and infrastructure in one platform. In today’s software-as-a-service world, the cloud is a natural place for large amounts of user data to be aggregated, processed and turned into useful, actionable information. The Siemens MindSphere team has developed such a platform and, in this webinar, will share some of their valuable insights.

Webinar viewers will learn how to:

  • Monitor performance data with flexible dashboards
  • Receive alarms and threshold violations anywhere on any device
  • Perform analytics to gain deeper insights into machine status and identify areas for improvement
  • Assign tasks to solve issues with Performance, Quality and Availability
  • Work towards improving the Overall Equipment Effectiveness and reach the industry benchmark of 85%
