3D scanning of manufactured parts has been a useful quality assurance tool for years, but checking against specifications isn’t the only use for this technology. Stratasys has integrated scanning into a feedback system that alters machine code to bring parts into specification with fewer iterations. Rich Garrity explains how it works.
