Lincoln Industrial, a global operation headquartered in St. Louis Missouri, saves a lot of time with Adept Explorer. Users in Germany, China, and India can search and view prints in record time. That’s why it is the company’s international standard for searching, downloading, and printing of AutoCAD drawings.
Adept Explorer is a thin, web-based client for users who need to review or consume engineering and business-related information stored in Adept document management. It complements the full-featured desktop client.
The interface is simple. Users can find, view, print, redline, assign, and copy documents based on the permissions set in Adept. It displays revision information, file relationships, workflow status, and the audit trail of a document throughout its lifecycle.
The program also has the same viewing capabilities found in the desktop client for AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Microsoft Word and Excel, PDF, TIF, and other formats.
Thin client ensures fast, easy, and accurate access to information throughout the enterprise. “What used to take minutes now takes seconds,” said Ron Schomburg, Manager of International Infrastructure and Networking at Lincoln Industrial.
Potential users include manufacturing, procurement, maintenance, customer service, sales, marketing, quality assurance, project management, accounting, executives, contractors, customers, and vendors.
