QuadriSpace increases its product portfolio with the addition of a cloud-based application for sharing lightweight 3D content: Share3D.
Some of you may recognize QuadriSpace from its applications that ease the use of 3D CAD into the value stream by creating new content from 3D CAD sources.
- Pages3D – Create printed and interactive documents from 3D CAD.
- Publisher3D – Create raster, vector, PDF and cloud content from 3D CAD.
- Document3D Suite – Create documents and content from 3D CAD.
- Reader3D – View and print interactive 3D documents.
But last month, QuadriSpace released a new cloud application called Share3D.
Share3D apps enhance the communication between collaborators leading to faster responses and fewer errors. For those members of the collaboration team that don’t have access to their PC, iPhone, or iPad (no Android or Windows mobile devices supported yet), there is an email-in-the-loop option that sends and records messages into the collaboration space. Lightweight content is hosted on Amazon’s AES-256 encrypted servers. The native CAD content remains local.
Share3D from QuadriSpace brings its product offerings into alignment with its competitors as well as newcomers who have entered this space via acquisition or partnership. With QuadriSpace’s experience in 3D content and publishing, this cloud-based application rounds out their product line nicely.
