In this portal, you can view order status and history; order parts from existing molds; upload 3D CAD files for a quote; place orders; and forward your cart to colleagues. You’ll have instant access to molds, parts, costs, materials, production, shipping and payment information right from your desktop.
Customers can set passwords and other access criteria by visiting the portal at https://portal.protomold.com. The portal is secure and password protected. The portal’s home page has five main sections: Your Quotes, Your Molds, Your Cart, Your Orders and Your Account.
“The portal will make doing business with us faster and easier than ever,” states Protomold Director of Business Development Bill Dietrick. “We saw the benefits back in 1999 of customer self-service with fast interactive quoting and design analysis leading to a job. Developing the portal was a natural extension of these benefits. This is just one of the new projects we have underway to improve our customers’ experience with Protomold.”
