Process validation would vary substantially case-by-case and product-to-product. But process validation is used any time you can’t fully verify your process and additive manufacturing kind of falls right in that bucket. Typically, process validation is geometry specific, it’s material specific, it’s additive manufacturing technique specific, and it’s post-processing specific. So you typically take a black box approach by validating your geometry through your system and verify that the output meets all of the input requirements.
