Please explain the working of an Impulse Generator ?
An electrical Impulse generator is a device that is able to create very short bursts of high voltage, high current energy or impulses of electrical power. They are used in a variety of applications including Lasers and thermo-nuclear fusion systems.
They work by charging a number of capacitors in parallel over a relatively long period of time then releasing the stored energy in a short period of time while the capacitors are connect in series.
